Master Carlos Alberto Liberi, started practicing JIU-JITSU in 1980 and obtained his black belt in 1990, today he is a red and black coral belt, 7th degree. A longtime Jiu Jitsu practitioner, he has been involved in all areas of the sport.
1994, he began training with the GRACIE BARRA team and soon became an invitational competitor for master Carlos Gracie Jr. , which led him to make the transition to helping athletes achieve success in competition.

Carlos Lemos Jr. commonly known as Escorrega is a former mixed martial artist and 5th degree Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt practitioner and coach. A multiple-time world champion in the sport, Lemos Jr. is also regarded as one of the first black belts to come over to Europe to coach and establish Jiu Jitsu academies.
Professor Carlos Lopez is a 3rd degree black belt under Gracie Barra, with another 17 years of experience, he is bilingual in English and Spanish and is known in the Midwest jiu jitsu community as one of the pivotal instructors in the development of the Gracie Barra Jiu Jitsu in Chicago and Illinois, his passion for helping beginners who never did jiu jitsu before achieving their goals is one of his strongest attributes teaching jiu-Jitsu for everyone.
Coach Ricardo is a Brazilian who has been training at Gracie Barra West Loop under Prof Carlos Lemos Prof Marcio Feitosa and Prof Carlos Lopez since 2019. Ricardo is a ICP certified instructor
